“Rhinoceros Are Violent Animals” is the latest project by Núcleo M.E.S.A. - Montagens Experimentais Sociedade Anônima (Experimental Montages anonymous society). Created by Brazilian performers Juliana Valente and Francisco Turbiani, the project stems from a theatrical exploration of the text “Rhinoceros”, by Eugène Ionesco to discuss the value of life and authoritarianism in the contemporary world.
