Welcome to a showcase of the Berlin-based experimental collective Burre.

Burre represents authentic, radical approach to electronic music, creative alternative club events in Berlin. They promote subjectivity in music through accents on live shows and performance art in their curation.

For this special showcase in Jena, participants of the collective will perform a mix of DJ-sets, live-sets and performances, spreading across genres of leftfield, folk, donk, IDM, footwork and industrial. For this issue they bring closest residents of collective: musician @memeshift and performer artist @sima.brig

We’re also particularly looking forward to seeing Kitte as Amygdala from JENA! (contrary to our mistake on the poster)
Kitte is known for various projects such as hyphen, panik and Andy Armbrust.

Amygdala is an invitation to be unsettled – perhaps confrontational, perhaps detached, and mostly by accident. The sound emerges in the moment; the space is created through the interplay between listening and movement. What are we talking about when we come together through music? Are we violent, and do you become soft? Who is loud and who is quiet?
Accompanied by performative company and collective play, Amygdala itself is merely an observer.
