Dear all,

The KuFi film club is waking up from its spring slumber and has a very special evening in store for the 2026 summer semester. We’ll be screening one of the most impressive dark fantasy animated films of the 1980s under the open sky at the Kulturschlachthof Jena.

The student film club of the Art History and Film Studies Seminar at the Institute for Art and Cultural Studies at Friedrich Schiller University in Jena has been organizing themed film series with film studies introductions and open discussions for several semesters now. This time, a dark fairy tale awaits you. A widowed field mouse sets out in search of help for her sick son and discovers a community of highly intelligent rats bound by a dark secret from a research laboratory.

Lantern e.V. will be offering catering at the start of the evening.

Best regards :))
